About me

Lynden Garland is a design professional with over 20 years’ experience. He focuses on creating thoughtful designs and developing strong relationships.

Lynden Garland received his Bachelor of Architecture from Hampton University in 1998. He earned a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning, focusing on housing and community development, at the University of Virginia in 2000 and attained a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in real estate, from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014.

Lynden’s design experience covers a variety of different markets including adaptive reuse, commercial - office and retail, community, ecclesiastical, federal, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, mixed use, multifamily, and even single-family residential.

Lynden has worked for both large and small firms in a variety of leadership roles from project architect to principal. He constantly looks for ways to improve himself. His passion for architecture has led him in many directions all of which have been a benefit to his clients, friends and family, colleagues and himself.
